Ohio Right to Life PAC Endorses Wilkin

Conservative Republican Shane Wilkin today announced he has earned the support of the state’s largest group of pro-life leaders, Ohio Right to Life. Wilkin is the only candidate running in Ohio’s Second Congressional District race to receive this coveted endorsement.

“Ohio Right to Life is proud to endorse Shane Wilkin for the Second Congressional District. He has a 100 percent pro-life voting record as a legislator and has always worked side-by-side with Ohio's pro-life movement,” said Ohio Right to Life President Michael Gonidakis. “We encourage the voters to send Shane Wilkin to Washington D.C. to represent and protect our values. Now more than ever we need strong conservative leadership, and he is the proven fighter Ohio needs.”

Staunchly pro-life, Wilkin is the only candidate from the Second Congressional District with a proven record of voting to protect innocent life. As a state lawmaker, Wilkin proudly voted for the Heartbeat Bill (House Bill 258, 132nd General Assembly), as well as several other pieces of pro-life legislation, including Senate Bill 27 (133rd General Assembly) and Senate Bill 157 (134th General Assembly). He also fought to protect the Ohio Constitution from liberal, pro-abortion activists, strongly opposed Issue 1 on the November 2023 ballot, and most recently fought to protect innocent children by voting to override the veto of House Bill 68, which included both the Save Adolescents from Experimentation Act (SAFE) and the Save Women’s Sports Act.

Following the endorsement, Wilkin added, “Doing everything in my power to protect innocent children has always been a top priority for me as a lawmaker, and I’m incredibly proud of the 100 percent pro-life record I’ve earned over the years. As the father of two wonderful young girls, I’m blessed to see the positive impact children have on our world every day, and I’ll always do everything in my power to ensure the lives of unborn babies are cherished and protected.”
