Highland County Republican Party Unanimously Votes to Endorse Wilkin for Congress

The Highland County Republican Party has announced its endorsement of Shane Wilkin for Ohio’s Second Congressional District following a unanimous vote at its January meeting.

“Shane Wilkin has the toughness it takes to represent us in Congress, and the Highland County GOP is proud to put our full support behind his campaign,” said Chairwoman Paulette Donley. “Those of us who have known Shane for years know he’s a proven conservative who always backs up his word with hard work and real results. There are a lot of so-called elites in D.C. who don’t respect Southern Ohio, and Shane is exactly who we need to elect to fight for us.”

In response to the endorsement, Wilkin added, “Earning the backing of the conservative voters who know me best is an honor and a testament to the fact that I’ve built a proven record of results, not just talk. I look forward to fighting for Highland County and the entire Second Congressional District in Congress.”
